FREE Swimming for 60 & Over and 16 & Under
Rotherham Borough Councill is taking part in a new £140 million fund to boost sport and fitness through free swimming for over 60s and under 16s, from April 2009 to March 2011.
FREE SWIMMING is now available in selected sessions for the over 60s and under 16s at Rotherham Leisure Complex, Aston-Cum-Aughton Leisure Centre, Maltby Leisure Centre, & Wath-Upon-Dearne leisure Centre. Membership cards are essential to participate, available from the leisure facilities.
FREE SESSIONS include:
- All public and general swimming sessions.
- Lane swimming sessions (may be subject to age restrictions i.e. Adult only)
- Family and Fun sessions. NB. Some sessions may remain as a paying session if equipment is used e.g. an inflatable.
- Ladies only sessions (May be subject to age restrictions).
