Big Screen Culture returns to Rotherham
Opera and ballet will be returning to All Saints' Square in Rotherham this summer with three unforgettable Big Screen performances.
Following on from last year's successful BBC Big Screen events, Rotherham MBC's Events and Promotion Service is proud to announce live screenings of the ballet Ondine on Wednesday June 3, the classic opera La Triviata on Tuesday June 30 and the Barber of Seville on Wednesday July 15.
Events and Promotions Manager, Marie Hayes, said: "Last year the free ballet events welcomed a wealth of people to the town centre, something we’re hoping to replicate this year."
"Many of the people who enjoyed the previous Big Screen events were new to ballet and opera and the feedback we received was wonderful. We'd like everyone to bring their friends and family along to the events this year and experience the relaxing atmosphere and great spectacle that the Big Screen offers."
