Intro
The Business & Retail Investment Team, part of Rotherham MBC, works together to support town centre businesses and promote Rotherham Town Centre as an ideal destination for shoppers and visitors.
The team:
- Communicates to town centre businesses via regular forum meetings and newsletters
- Co-ordinates town centre safety initiatives (such as the successful Radio Links scheme)
- Provides a property search and supports new business looking for the ideal retail unit
- Develops a strategy to strengthen the retail offer
- Monitors, researches and evaluates town-centre performance
- Targets relevant retail and property events, conferences and the media to ensure Rotherham town centre is widely promoted as a place to invest
- Raises the town’s profile by undertaking marketing and PR activity (including developing & maintaining this website).
