It is estimated that business crime costs the industry up to £1 billion per year. Offences include shop lifting, robbery, forgery, fraud, criminal damage & assault. These are not victimless crimes; business crime has a direct impact on our towns & cities and has a significant impact on the profitability of both independent & national retailers.
Rotherham Business Against Crime Partnership (RBACP) is a group of proactive businesses working together with South Yorkshire Police, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Chamber of Commerce to ensure that Rotherham Town Centre is a safe place to live, shop, work and visit.
