Trading Information

Rotherham Market provides a host of opportunities for both permanent and temporary retailing.

Indoor Markets Complex

All Indoor stalls are occupied on 3 year leases. Stalls are usually sold from business to business along with the actual business and the remainder of the 3 year lease but occasionally stall leases are returned to the authority to re sell.

All stalls must sell specific lines i.e. Fruit and Vegetables and the numbers of lines are restricted to provide a balanced retail mix as well as protecting tenants.

Anybody wanting further information on purchasing Indoor stalls and information on stalls currently for sale can come along to the Markets Office for an informal chat with markets staff who will give as much information as possible. The Markets department are always willing to discuss incentives for new traders wishing to come into the Indoor complex and who are offering a line which will add to the shopping experience for visitors.
